Each convict was sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment with Rs 20,000 fine. The Supreme Court (W.P.(Crl.) 621/1992, Pratul Kumar Sinha) had earlier ordered the arrests and Rs 25,000 ex-gratia per family; as of the 2003 compensation judgment the [name withheld] could not say whether any appeal was filed.",
