The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal of CID constable, who offered Rs 1,000 to Head Constable to substitute seized stolen gold coins recovered from Rameshwar Dass at Murthal bus stand on 25 April 1968 and sabotage the Section 411 IPC case. \[name withheld\] reported to the DSP, and a raiding party caught \[name withheld\] at Dogra Hotel with substitute coins and the bribe money. The Court held a 'hostile' witness's testimony can sustain conviction if corroborated, upholding one year's RI under Section 165-A IPC.
