The Supreme Court affirmed the conviction of two Bhiwani police-post officials who raped the complainant inside Police Post Patram Gate after bringing her and her companion there from the bus stand on their way to Jammu. The trial court had convicted both policemen under Section 376(2) IPC with the 10-year minimum, and the Punjab and Haryana High Court confirmed the convictions while acquitting the co-accused \[name withheld\].
