The Supreme Court maintained the conviction of Police Sub-Inspector, who had stopped a marriage-party luxury bus at Aasarana Chokdi, retained its permit and papers, and demanded Rs.250 as entry fee from the travels mehtaji. The Court found sufficient evidence of demand and acceptance of the bribe.
