- Charged, not convicted 8 February 2018
Tamil Nadu's Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption reported that it trapped and arrested a Deputy Superintendent of Police and Sub-Inspector of Police of Ambur Range, Vellore district, on 8 February 2018 in a bribery case. This is an allegation: an arrest in a trap is not a conviction, and the officer is presumed innocent unless a court finds otherwise.
