## Summary

The Special Judge, CBI Jabalpur convicted RPF Sub-Inspector for demanding Rs 10 lakh from a Satna scrap-yard owner to not foist a railway-cable theft case on him, sentencing him to 7 years' RI. After negotiation to two instalments, he accepted Rs 2 lakh on 29.10.2012; the CBI chargesheeted him that December.
