## Summary

The Judicial Magistrate First Class, Chandigarh convicted the two PCR policemen under Section 68 of the Excise Act by judgment dated 14.01.2006 and released them on probation. The High Court recorded that the officers were on PCR Vehicle No. CH-01-G-0156 when liquor was found after a wireless message to police post PGI. The High Court held that no ground for interference was made out. The High Court dismissed the revision and maintained the conviction.
