## Summary

The Special Judge convicted ASI of PS Nizamuddin, IO of FIR 304/93, for demanding Rs 500 per hearing from the complainant to weaken evidence and save him, as proved through the CBI trap following the 25.10.1996 meeting. He was sentenced on 24.09.2001 to four years RI with Rs 500 fine on each count. On 23.05.2011 Justice M.L. Mehta dismissed his appeal (Crl.A. 746/2002), holding demand, acceptance and recovery amply proved, and ordered him taken into custody.
