## Summary

The Special Judge, Delhi convicted SI \[name withheld\] of the Central District Crime Cell on 17.10.2007 for demanding a bribe from the complainant to hush up FIR No.99/1998 of PS Karol Bagh which he was investigating, catching him red-handed with Rs 5,000 tainted money with positive hand and pocket washes in an Anti-Corruption trap. He was sentenced to two-and-a-half years RI under section 7 and three years RI under section 13. On 20.11.2007 Justice S.N. Dhingra heard his section 389 suspension application (CRL.MA 12784/2007); the final appeal outcome is not traced.
