## Summary

The Special Judge convicted SI of PS Jahangirpuri on 11.12.2002 for demanding and accepting Rs 5,000 illegal gratification from \[name withheld\] on 12.07.1995 at the police station as reward for favour in a bank-fraud complaint by Samey Singh, sentencing him to two years simple imprisonment with Rs 2,000 fine. On 06.05.2011 Justice Suresh Kait dismissed his appeal (CRL.A. 995/2002), upholding the conviction and sentence.
