## Summary

The Special Judge, Delhi convicted Delhi Police Constable of the East District in CBI RC 76-A/95 under sections 7 and 13 of the PC Act - he had been arrested by the CBI Anti-Corruption Branch on 28.08.1995 and suspended - holding him guilty on 14.12.1999 and sentencing him on 17.12.1999 to two years imprisonment, as recorded with RC number and sections in the CAT's 14.02.2019 order (OA 245/2018); the applicant's own passing reference to a 02.08.2001 judgment is contradicted by the respondents' specific account adopted in the CAT's findings. He was dismissed from service on 10.08.2006 (reinstated, dismissed again 10.06.2011, dismissal quashed by CAT; retired 31.12.2012). On 21.09.2015 the Delhi High Court decided his criminal appeal No.15/2000, upholding the conviction while modifying the sentence to one year RI with Rs 5,000 fine on each count.
