## Summary

The Special Judge, Tis Hazari convicted Delhi Traffic Police Head Constable and Constable in ACB FIR 16/03 for demanding and accepting bribe from driver \[name withheld\] - who complained they harassed him while plying truck HR-38-G 6924 on the Delhi-Bahadurgarh route via Ring Road and Rohtak Road - catching both red-handed in a trap on 02.04.2003 for not challaning the vehicle, with Rs 3,000 recovered from \[name withheld\], holding them guilty on 25.11.2010 under sections 7 and 13 of the PC Act, as recorded in the CAT's 24.05.2012 order (OA 1084/2010). \[name withheld\] filed an appeal before the Delhi High Court which is sub judice with sentence suspended; both had been suspended since the trap and faced a revived departmental enquiry from 27.01.2010.
