The release states Roy demanded Rs.50,000 from the complainant for not acting against him in a case about Rs.2 lakh loss to Railways from sticking posters on local trains without permission; a trap caught the Inspector and a constable accepting Rs.4,000; CBI chargesheeted both on 10.11.2009 and the trial court convicted only the Inspector.
