Per the trial judgment, suspended Constable of Delhi Police was convicted on 07-07-2007 by the Special Judge, Delhi under s.12 of the PC Act for offering Rs 19,000 (38 notes of Rs 500 in a pinned yellow envelope delivered via on-duty Constable at the residence) to Addl. Commissioner of Police R.K. Sharma on 25-03-2000 to get himself reinstated on duty (FIR No.16/2000), and was sentenced on 09-07-2007 to 3.5 years RI with Rs 10,000 fine. No appeal traced; appeal status unknown. (Different person-case from the 2019 \[name withheld\] conviction in t2w2-10-046.)
