Tamil Nadu's Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption reported that it trapped and arrested a Head Constable of Chettipalayam Police Station, Coimbatore district, on 9 April 2025 while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 for approving police verification for the complainant's passport application.
