What happened
UJVNL's official introduction says the company was formed on 12 February 2001, renamed Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited in 2007 and renamed UJVN Limited in 2011. The same page identifies it as wholly owned by the Government of Uttarakhand.

What we could not confirm
The solar-project page contains an internal inconsistency: one line says the 1.5 MW Vyasi plant was commissioned on 26 April 2025, while a later list says 16 April 2025. That plant's date is therefore not used. No official FY2025-26 audited financial figures were located, and the employee figure is the company's FY2024-25 operational statement rather than a separately labelled annual-report workforce total.
