ConcludedThe trial court convicted the accused police personnel, as recorded in the Bombay High Court judgment.
The Bombay High Court (Nagpur Bench) upheld the conviction of nine Nagpur Crime Branch policemen under Section 330 IPC for custodially torturing a Nagpur man, picked up from his home around 1 a.m. on 24 June 1993 and found dead in the lock-up that morning with 23 injuries.
