A Gondia man @ a Gondia man died in the custody of Gondia City police in December 1995 during interrogation; seven police personnel were convicted by the Additional Sessions Judge, Gondia in February 1997 under Sections 304/34 IPC, convictions later confirmed up to the Supreme Court. His widow [name withheld] filed this compensation writ in 2002 for herself and five minor children.
