The Special CBI Court, Mathura (Judge Sadhna Rani Thakur) convicted 11 Rajasthan policemen on 21 July 2020 and sentenced them to life on 22 July 2020 for the staged-encounter murder of Bharatpur ex-royal a Deeg man and supporters [name withheld] and [name withheld] at Deeg on 21 February 1985, a day after Singh rammed the CM's helicopter.
